Anyone interested in joining me Sat or Sun?

Trailnet, the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the City of Madison, Illinois are hosting Eagle Days at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge on January 17 & 18, 2009 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Activities include:
. Educational eagle program repeated every 20 minutes, 10:00 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.
. Viewing scopes on the Bridge permit close-ups of eagles
. Re-enactors interact with the public and acquaint visitors with aspects of Lewis & Clark's 1804-06 expedition the Corps of Discovery.
. Educational displays at the IL entrance include a replica of the boat used by the Corps of Discovery courtesy of the Lewis & Clark State Historic Site, Hartford, IL & the Lewis and Clark Society of America (Saturday only)
. Get your photo taken in the replica of an eagle's nest
. Bring your binoculars and dress to stay warm
. For public safety during the event do not bring your pets

Sounds great. Don't count on us, but if we go it would be on Saturday and we'd be looking to checkout something else in st. louis as well. Thanks for the invite, bro.

I've been wanting to take mari around to my old schools and some of the places that you raised your kids around Edwardsville (though I may save that for when you can give us a guided memory lane tour in the Spring). We can do that when you're older though if you want - we're still young enough to keep making new memories.
